A healthy society is formed with healthy media and healthy education/ the media should not reveal everything
Pointing out that a healthy society is formed with a healthy media and healthy education, Ayatollah Araki clarified: making an impact is not about exposing everything; Rather, the good things should be done openly and the bad things should be corrected without the media and making it public and without fuss.
Yesterday, Ayatollah Araki, in a public meeting with the people, stated that the operations of Al-Aqsa storm and Sadiq’s promise have opened new pages in history and stated: “Thank God, many developments are seen in the country and at the regional level, all of which are due to the blessing of His Highness.” It is the rest of Allah Almighty.
He also shared his memories of the first months of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and said: During those months, I was a slave in Khuzestan and with the help of the people, we managed to launch Al-Maqruz al-Thaqafi al-Islami and Arabic Radio Ahvaz to support the Islamic Revolution.
Ayatollah Araki continued: At that time, the Ba’athists had a special investment in Khuzestan and even provided weapons to the people of those areas and decided to join Khuzestan to their country.
Emphasizing the necessity of protecting the audio and visual media, he said: the enemies seek to dominate the eyes and ears in order to bring the societies under their control; On this basis, we should not forget that a healthy society is formed with healthy media and healthy education.
He stated that elite, thoughtful, experienced, scientific and professional people like martyr Ayatollah Motahari should be supervisors and decision makers in media management. He paid attention to the importance of cultural jurisprudence and stated: One of the important principles of media work is that flaws and defects should not be exposed.
Ayatollah Araki added: Of course, this does not mean ignoring criticism; Rather, criticisms should be conveyed to individuals privately.
He stressed that the infallible saints (AS) did not leave anything in the field of life that they did not pass on to us; He paid attention to some educational traditions and said: According to the traditions, we should ignore some mistakes of our children and warn others; In other words, children should be made to believe that they are good people.
Ayatollah Araki also recalled the narration “Three quarters of intellect is ignorance” and said: A wise person is one who knows something or other things from others; He didn’t bring it on them, but he reminded them of his good deeds.
Emphasizing that in order to be effective, everything should not be exposed, but the good should be exposed and the bad should be corrected without the media and publicity and without fuss, he reminded: Of course, we also have public criticism in Islam, which has its own principles; But the principle is not to normalize sin and violation.
Ayatollah Araki expressed his hope that by implementing these vital teachings, Iran and Iranians will be recognized and introduced in the world as a symbol of knowledge.
